If I travel to you I will bring a bean bag poser, backgrounds, space heater, sound machine and various wraps. In other words almost everything except the kitchen sink! When I arrive, we will need to clear a 6-8 square foot area near a window for me to set up. Many parents prefer this option, especially in the winter months. We will plan ahead of time what you have in mind for colors and props to make sure I have all the materials needed for your baby’s newborn photos.

Newborn photography is the perfect opportunity to capture those first few days at home when you and baby are getting to know each other. From posed to natural, these newborn pictures are a perfect reflection of such a special time for every family that welcomes a new baby. My newborn photography sessions offer the flexibility of being in your home so you don’t have to worry about traveling with a new baby, or in my specialized newborn studio if you don’t want to worry about having your home photo ready. Here are some of my favorite newborn photos!
I take care of everything except the milk and diapers. The studio is set up to be as comfortable as possible for new parents. A dedicated changing table, glider for feedings, and sofa to take a load off while I work with your baby is all ready to go. Need a caffeine boost? There is also a coffee and tea station set up for your refreshment.

One question that some clients sometimes ask: Is newborn photography safe? The answer is yes! That said, you will want to make sure you are entrusting your baby not only to someone skilled at photography, but also at working with babies. Your new baby is your most valuable treasure, and deserves to be treated accordingly. Many measures can be taken by a skilled photographer to ensure your baby’s safety. I’ll cover a few of the basics here.
