Adriana was on time and very responsive when communicating with her. She made us feel comfortable and we had fun with the engagement shoot even though my fiancee and I don’t normally enjoy getting photographed. The pictures turned out well and were ready within the estimated time period Adriana told us. Her husband was very helpful with holding our stuff and our dogs for the pictures the dogs weren’t in. Overall, would recommend!
I have twin boys that will turn 1 in September. We’re moving to Houston September 4th and their birthday is September 12. I need absolutely last minute shots done the 5th or 6th. I can’t afford much. We had a photographer here in Austin that was going to do our photos for 75 dollars.
There will be a smash cake involved too.

Riaz was a fantastic photographer to work with. He is easy to work with and so much fun to shoot with. I can’t wait to work with him again in the future.
Caitlin is amazing! She was so sweet and worked with my crazy schedule and last minute challenges, I briefly told her what I was looking for and she totally nailed it! I honestly could not be happier! She took so many shots and was so sweet enough to give me plenty of pictures unlike many photographers that will narrow down the number of pictures you get to keep. She also got them to me in just a few days! I’ve saved her number in my phone and will definitely be calling her again… if you’re reading this and considering hiring Caitlin you definitely should!
Randy did our maternity and newborn shoot, and everything came out so beautiful! The time he takes on each shot shows real professionalism and his edits make the shots even more beautiful than they are. Love his work and I definitely am using him for future sessions!

Ori is one of the best photographers with excellent service and professionalism beyond superb. From the first moment we spoke I knew I was in excellent hands. I will definitely use for all my future events.
Otto is an exceptional photographer and creative professional. As a Communications Director, I relied on Otto for several projects, photography and videography, and he always went the extra mile.
Ana has been our family photographer throughout the past 4 years. She is incredible with children, her work is crisp and elegant. Having worked with several well-know photographers throughout the years, I couldn’t recommend anyone else. We hold her in the highest regard.
My company hired Tracy to do our staff headshots. She and her team were very professional AND personable. She offered to do a site visit (unlike other photographers who contacted me about the job) to identify best spots to set-up. She listened to our requests and our concerns and was able to give us her creative input. She put all of our staff at ease while they took their photo – something to note since some of our older staff were reluctant to take the photo at all. Quick turnaround for the photos too. And overall, excellent quality! We all jokingly said the photos came out so well that we didn’t even recognize each other. I’m glad I found Tracy via Thumbtack. I highly recommend hiring her for all your corporate and personal projects.
I want lots and lots of balloons and I need a two day photo shoot.
I requested an outside maternity photo shoot at 34 wks pregnant. At 34wks pregnant and also due to some unforeseen complications, it has been a little difficult for me to ambulate without assistance. With this in mind, Grady chose a location that was easy to access and beautiful. Unlike any other photographer I have worked with, he also suggested scheduling an early morning session that would allow great photos and a cooler outside temperature. Grady was very professional, considerate of my condition, understood my needs and provided personalized service. He was able to capture what I envisioned and more. His attention to detail and willingness to hear my requests makes him a cut above the rest. The turnaround time for reviewing the proofs also exceeded my expectations – they were uploaded within hours. I will use his service again and I am very pleased with my entire experience.
This is a Christmas card session, with a family of four (2 babies under 2 years old).
Victor was awesome! He was able to capture amazing photos of my baby shower. Very responsive, and PROFESSIONAL. He worked good with the crowd but mostly was able to capture candid moments that we will cherish forever!
My husband, toddler, and I had a session with Matthew to take photos for Christmas cards. The photoshoot went perfectly. Matthew was very helpful and responsive before, during, and after the session. He was flexible about everything and made good use of the time and space we had for the photo shoot. He was also excellent with our easily distracted 2-year-old. We got digital files of the photos back within a couple days, and they were exactly what we were looking for! Matthew’s services were also very affordable. This was easily the best experience we’ve had with a photographer with our daughter, and we’d definitely use Matthew again!

Few styles of portrait photography are as tricky as newborn photos — the unpredictable infant is always in charge! The best way to ensure a successful photo shoot is to work with a local newborn photographer within the first two weeks of the baby’s life. Some photographers even work with hospitals to offer newborn sessions within a day of the baby’s birth. But newborn photographers usually recommend scheduling a shoot during the baby’s first two weeks of life, while the baby is still sleepy and relatively cooperative, especially for posed or studio shots. During this time, babies are easier to swaddle in blankets and dress in hats or headbands, and, because they often nap or nurse, can be staged with various props or be cuddled by their parents. For casual photos, most newborn photographers recommend shooting within the first six weeks of a baby’s life. Lifestyle portrait photography is more flexible and doesn’t require the baby to cooperate with multiple poses or props.
Lee is an excellent photographer and my most trusted video producer. He’s approachable and fun to work with.

Chris is one of the most personable, fun photographers I’ve ever worked with! He listened to exactly what I wanted and delivered so much more. VERY reasonable too. I’ve recommended him several times.
Irina took my maternity pictures and pictures of my newborn baby. These pictures are wonderful!!! I love them!!! Thank you very much!!!
Baby pictures are among the most popular types of portrait photography, and most newborn photographers are well versed in the best places to take baby pictures in their local areas. Some newborn photographers will come to the hospital to shoot the baby within a day or two of birth, while others have set up their studios to accommodate the needs of infants. Some parents prefer to have the newborn photographer come to their home or travel to a favorite park or other outdoor location. Like any portrait photography, the best place to take baby pictures is the place you like best and that will yield the types of photos you want of your baby, whether that’s posed and carefully lit studio portraits or spontaneous, casual photos at home. Work with a local newborn photographer to find a safe, calm location with great lighting and some privacy for your family.

Dom is the best in the business! Choosing him as our photographers for our AirBnB photos was the best decision we made. Dom made the whole process enjoyable and it was a joy to work with him. In addition to his professionalism, his work exceeded our expectations. He has a true natural talent for photography and was able to capture every special part of our condo that meant the world to us. His communication was consistent, effective, and efficient, plus his precision to detail is amazing. If you want the most authentic, unique, and awesome photos in town, Dom is your guy. My wife and I can’t wait to use him again for our other properties!
Portrait photography provides parents with lasting images of the first whirlwind months of a newborn’s life. The cost varies based on several factors, including the length and location of the session, the number of photos provided, and the amount of editing and retouching the photographer does. The national average cost for baby photos is $150-$200. Some baby photographers charge by the number of photos provided, typically ranging from an average of $299 for 20 high-resolution edited photos, to an average of $399 for 35 photos, to $499 for all of the images taken in a single session. Props and location affect the cost, too; an elaborate studio shoot with props and professional lighting may increase the cost to $600-$700 for 20-50 photos. Adding a second location or asking the photographer to travel can add $70-$250 to the cost of the session. Photographers may also charge extra fees for providing additional photos and DVDs, scheduling weekend sessions, and shooting siblings. Expect to pay at least a $50 deposit when you book a portrait photography session.
Matt was great to work with. From the time he submitted his quote and portfolio, I fell in love with his style of photography. He was cheaper than most of the other quotes I got, and yet I think his portfolio was the best by far. I was looking for new professional portraits to use for LinkedIn and other professional materials, but I detest the “stock photo” style of professional head shots that plague this space. His work has more personality and is less retouched – so my skin doesn’t look plastic. We booked an appointment early in the morning on a Saturday at Hermann Park and Rice U in order to capture the best light. I had some ideas and he had also scouted good locations. I should also say, I’ve worked with many photographers and Matt had, I think, the most gear and tools for shooting on location that I’ve ever seen! He was also very personable, relaxed and easy to work with, which always helps to create better work that looks more natural and not posed. I’ve so far received about half of the final edited photos, and they’re looking great! I’m looking forward to the rest!
Kevin shot my daughter’s bridal portraits and he was absolutely OUTSTANDING. When selecting someone to shoot bridal shots, I wanted to make sure we selected the perfect photographer to capture this once in a lifetime event. Kevin met those expectations and then some. He was very professional and really displayed his knowledge of capturing the right angle in order to produce the perfect photo. My daughter’s wedding photos were stunning!! I would recommend Kevin to anyone who’s looking for a great photographer at a great price!!
Traditional/Classic (looking directly at the camera), Candid (captured in the moment)
We had our first time homeowners photoshoot and Carlos was amazing! He came ready with ideas of great shots, and was able to capture our special accomplishment so perfectly. We were even able to include our fur baby, which he worked perfectly with!
One of the best photographers I have ever had the pleasure of working with.
